Hello, my name is Nick Wilson and I am a first year PhD student in Public Policy at Mississippi State University in Starkville, Ms. My major area of interest is disaster preparedness and recovery with a focus on state and local government. Prior to studying for my PhD I obtained my Masters Degree in Public Policy and Administration and my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mississippi State. I also worked for two years for the Mississippi Municipal League. I am currently a Graduate Assistant in the Department of University Relations, the universities public affairs and communications office, providing system administration and technical support.
